The index is the annual power ranking of passports calculated by the number of destinations the holder of a passport may enter without a visa.
In 2021, a Japanese passport promises uncomplicated travel to 191 other countries and territories while Singapore once again placed second this year, providing access to 190 countries, followed closely by South Korea and Germany, with access to 189 countries and territories.
This year, Malaysia are tied with Liechtenstein at number 14 with visa-free access to 178 countries.
